Stworzony przez Jana Zamojskiego cykl grafik „Needless to Say” przedstawia tytułowe szpilki, którym towarzyszą słowa napisane zaprojektowanym przez autora fontem. O unikalności grafik decyduje kompozycja starannie zaaranżowanych okrągłych, barwnych plam i czarnych, przecinających się linii. Prace powstały podczas rezydencji Jana Zamojskiego w MGLC – International Centre of Graphic Arts w Lublanie. Zostały one włączone do kolekcji MGLC, instytucji o ponad siedemdziesięcioletniej historii i międzynarodowej renomie. Potwierdzeniem międzynarodowego znaczenia cyklu jest jego dalsza obecność w międzynarodowym obiegu artystycznym, między innymi w Japonii, na wystawach zbiorowych zatytułowanych „Our Homes Hum Our Songs” („Wasze domy nucą nasze pieśni”), podczas Expo 2025 w Osace, Kansai, 19-27.04.2025 oraz podczas drugiej odsłony tej wystawy w Aizumi Art Museum, 20-31.08.2025. Expo to wydarzenie o globalnym zasięgu i tradycji sięgającej 1851 roku. Na Expo w Osace prezentowano najważniejsze osiągnięcia cywilizacyjne z ponad 160 państw. Wystawę odwiedziło 29 milionów osób. W okresie 03.12.2025-08.02.2026 cykl grafik został upubliczniony na wystawie zbiorowej w MGLC International Centre of Graphic Arts w Lublanie na wystawie p.t. "Between Portrait and Impression, sales exhibition of prints and photography exhibition". Cykl składa się z 5 sitodruków o formacie 34.5 x 49 cm.
Abstract EN
Jan Zamojski's graphic series "Needless to Say" features the titular pins accompanied by words written in a font designed by the artist. The graphics are unique thanks to their composition of carefully arranged circular, colorful spots and black, intersecting lines. The works were created during Jan Zamojski's residency at the MGLC – International Centre of Graphic Arts in Ljubljana. They have been incorporated into the MGLC collection, an institution with over seventy years of history and international renown. The series' international significance is confirmed by its continued presence in the international art circuit, including in Japan, in group exhibitions titled "Our Homes Hum Our Songs," during Expo 2025 in Osaka, Kansai, April 19-27, 2025, and during its second installment at the Aizumi Art Museum, August 20-31, 2025. Expo is an event with a global reach and a tradition dating back to 1851. The Osaka Expo showcased the most important civilizational achievements from over 160 countries. The exhibition was visited by 29 million people. From December 3, 2025, to February 8, 2026, the series of prints was presented at a group exhibition at the MGLC International Centre of Graphic Arts in Ljubljana, entitled "Between Portrait and Impression, sales exhibition of prints and photography exhibition." The series consists of five screen prints measuring 34.5 x 49 cm.
