Stworzony przez Katarzynę Sowę podręcznik projektowania krojów pisma "ABC Typografii" został napisany z myślą o uczestnikach studiów projektowych i artystycznych. Katarzyna Sowa oprócz autorstwa podręcznika wykonała jego projekt, okładkę, skład i ilustracje. Książka została nagrodzona w konkursie PTWK Najpiękniejszych Polskich Książek 2021. W 2023 roku ukazała się na dwóch wystawach na Tajwanie w ramach The Most Beautiful Polish Books - Najpiękniejsze Polskie Książki w Taiwan Design Museum w Tajpej oraz w Hostel Tomato w Jiaoxi zorganizowanych przez Taiwan Design Research Institute. Książka została zaprezentowana w Księgarni Bęc Zmiana w Warszawie oraz na Międzynarodowych Targach Książki w Lipsku w ramach wystawy „Best Book Design from all over the World 2023” międzynarodowego konkursu organizowanego przez Stiftung Buchkunst. Po wystawie książka został włączona do księgozbioru The German Museum of Books and Writing w Niemieckiej Bibliotece Narodowej w Lipsku.
Abstract EN
The "ABC Typography" handbook of typeface design created by Katarzyna Sowa was written with participants of design and art studies in mind. Katarzyna Sowa, in addition to authoring the textbook, made its design, cover, layout and illustrations. The book was awarded in the PTWK Most Beautiful Polish Books 2021 competition. In 2023, it was published at two exhibitions in Taiwan as part of The Most Beautiful Polish Books at the Taiwan Design Museum in Taipei and at Hostel Tomato in Jiaoxi, organized by the Taiwan Design Research Institute . The book was presented at the Bęc Zmiana Bookstore in Warsaw and at the International Book Fair in Leipzig as part of the "Best Book Design from all over the World 2023" exhibition, an international competition organized by Stiftung Buchkunst. After the exhibition, the book was included in the book collection of The German Museum of Books and Writing at the German National Library in Leipzig.
