Wystawa "Scena z miasta. Wrocław niezależny lat 90."

    BWA Wrocław
    Paweł Piotrowicz, Paweł Starzec (Wrocław)
Paweł Starzec and Paweł Piotrowicz, at the invitation of the BWA Wrocław, co-created the curatorial concept and implementation project for the exhibition "City Scene: Wrocław’s Independent Culture of the 1990s". The project grew out of the activities of the Wrocław Independent Music Scene association and earlier projects – the series of publications "Wrocław Independent Music Scene" and "Lower Silesian Independent Music Scene," as well as the exhibitions "Wild Fields. The History of the Avant-Garde Wrocław" (Zachęta, 2015) and "Black Spring. Around the Wrocław Independent Music Scene of the 1980s" (Wrocław Contemporary Museum, 2017). The exhibition is largely based on previously unpublished archival materials – photographs and films documenting the events of the 1990s in Wrocław and the activities of the music scene and counterculture. Paweł Starzec was responsible for organizing the materials collected during the research, developing the curatorial and spatial concept for the exhibition, writing one of the two accompanying texts, preparing the design for two audio/video installations, and preparing the production of the photographic materials. The exhibition took place at the BWA Wrocław from March 6 to May 17, 2026. Media patrons for the event included Radio RAM, Radio Wrocław, Radio Wrocław Kultura, the Format Artistic Magazine, Miej Miejsce, TVP3 Wrocław, TVP Info, and TVP Kultura. The exhibition proved to be a major success in terms of attendance, with over 600 visitors during the opening weekend.

Esej "Duch w maszynie do mieszkania" w monografii "Mister Wrocław"

Paweł Starzec is the author of the essay "The Ghost in the Apartment Machine," which accompanies a multi-author monograph edited by Iwona Kałuża. The publication "Mister Wrocław" focuses on the Mister Wrocław architectural competition, organized between 1960 and 1977 by Słowo Polskie. At the invitation of the editor and publisher, Paweł Starzec prepared an accompanying essay, which serves as an afterword in the publication. The publication is published by Wydawnictwo Fundacja Fandom (2026). The monograph premiered at an author meeting at the Fandom Foundation headquarters in Wrocław and was then presented during a series of city walks around Wrocław and at an author meeting at the ZODIAK Warsaw Architecture Pavilion. Wydarzenie "Tenerife Creative Camp 2026"

Wydział Sztuk Pięknych Uniwersytetu La Laguna na Teneryfie
Filip Zagórski is the founder and chief curator of "Tenerife Creative Camp," an international artistic event dedicated to creativity, design, and visual culture. The 2026 edition introduces a creative laboratory exploring the analog-digital duality, encompassing film and video practices, as well as practical techniques such as RISO printing and frottage. The theme of this edition is "What is creativity today—and who is creative?". The aim is to challenge assumptions about authorship, intuition, and decision-making; to explore analog and digital practices as intertwined creative modes; and to create a space for collaborative reflection on the relationship between humans and technology in contemporary cultural production. The event program includes intensive workshops led by a team of local and international designers, as well as a series of lectures, presentations, screenings, and panel discussions. The event took place at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of La Laguna in Tenerife, Spain, from June 16 to June 19, 2026. The project is co-financed by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland, the Adam Mickiewicz Institute, the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of La Laguna, and the DI-CA Association of the Canary Islands.

    Książka "Spowiedź Everymana"

"Everyman's Confession" is an artistic and research publication, echoing the exhibition "Everyman Turns the Camera," presented in September 2025 at the Rondo Sztuki Gallery in Katowice. The book summarizes over 20 years of conceptual design and art-based research, centering around the figure of Everyman - an anonymous, universal figure of user, consumer, and citizen. The publication takes the form of a visual and textual "confession," in which Everyman - previously functioning as a neutral tester of objects - is brought to the forefront and gives voice to his own experience. The book combines original text with photographic material documenting performative actions, situations in which objects are used, and para-architectural interventions implemented since 2002. The book serves as a stand-alone research paper, documenting the long-term creative process and methodology of artistic research based on performative testing of objects and analysis of user experience. The publication is published by Poorex / Bartosz Mucha with the support of SWPS University in Warsaw. The book is 80 pages long and has a softcover. Distributed by the Bęc Zmiana Foundation.
