Indywidualna wystawa prac malarskich i rysunków Agnieszki Semaniszyn-Konat p.t. "Warp | Incipit" stanowi jednocześnie otwarcie jej procesu badawczego w kierunku doktoratu. Tytułowy Warp odsyła do pojęcia osnowy, nici stanowiącej konstrukcyjny szkielet tkaniny, a zarazem warsztatowy fundament procesu badawczego. Angielskie pojęcie mieści w sobie również drugie znaczenie: zadrażnienie, wypaczenie oraz glitch-ową strukturalną wyrwę i usterkę, która staje się zapowiedzią problemów badawczych oraz operacji formalnych rozwijanych w pracy doktorskiej. Z kolei Incipit, rozumiany jako początek, pierwsze słowa tekstu literackiego czy otwierające takty partytury, wyznacza moment inauguracji rygorystycznego procesu poznawczego. Na wystawie zostało zaprezentowanych 20 prac malarskich i rysunków, powstałych w latach 2024-2026. Prace mają wymiary 150/100, 120/120, 120/100, 100/150, 100/100, 100/80, 80/90, 70/100, 40/40, 20/100, 20/20 cm i powstały w technikach: olej na płótnie, technika mieszana, technika własna, kredka na papierze. Wystawa odbyła się w Galerii Tkackiej na Jatkach we Wrocławiu od 3 lipca do 17 sierpnia 2026 roku. Wystawa została zorganizowana dzięki współpracy Okręgu Gliwicko-Zabrzańskiego z Okręgiem Wrocławskim Związku Polskich Artystów Plastyków (ZPAP) oraz przy wsparciu Funduszu Rozwoju Badań Naukowych Uniwersytetu SWPS.
Abstract EN
Agnieszka Semaniszyn-Konat’s solo exhibition of paintings and drawings, titled "Warp | Incipit," marks the launch of her doctoral research process. The title "Warp" refers to the concept of the warp, the threads forming the structural skeleton of a textile and, simultaneously, the foundational basis of the research process. The English term also carries a secondary meaning: distortion, warping, and a glitch structural rupture or flaw, elements that foreshadow the research problems and formal operations to be developed in the doctoral thesis. "Incipit" understood as a beginning, the opening words of a literary text, or the initial bars of a musical score, signals the inauguration of a rigorous cognitive process. The exhibition presented twenty paintings and drawings created between 2024 and 2026. The works, ranging in size from 20x20 cm to 150x100 cm, were executed using various techniques: oil on canvas, mixed media, proprietary techniques, and colored pencil on paper. The exhibition was held at the Galeria Tkacka at Jatki in Wrocław from July 3 to August 17, 2026. It was organized through the collaboration of the Gliwice-Zabrze and Wrocław Districts of the Association of Polish Visual Artists and supported by the Scientific Research Development Fund of SWPS University.
