Abstract PL
Abstract EN
Agata Nowak designed scenography for the exhibition "Doing Nothing", part of the Gdynia Design Days 2026 festival. The exhibition explored how to regain the ability to do nothing - a skill lost in a society that promotes constant productivity. "Doing Nothing" examines design as a tool that can support the recovery of this lost ability. The concepts and initiatives presented offered various strategies for letting go, ranging from bodywork and breathing techniques to limiting sensory stimuli and consciously creating conditions for idleness. The exhibition featured projects from countries including Poland, France, and South Korea. It was held from June 20 to 28 at the Pomeranian Science and Technology Park (PPNT). The partners of exhibition was Davis Home, Mudita, Scrolly, and IKEA. The festival is organized by the City of Gdynia, PPNT Gdynia, and the Gdynia Design Centre. Held since 2008, it is one of Poland's most important design events; its partners include Vogue Living, White MAD, Formy XYZ, and Label Magazine.
