Marta Kopyt jest autorką tekstów i ilustracji do książki dla dzieci "Rita i koń". Książka opowiada historię pary: dziewczynki w wieku przedszkolnym i konia, który nagle - nie wiadomo skąd- pojawia się w jej życiu. Rita zabiera go ze sobą, by razem spędzili wspólnie dzień: idą do przedszkola, ubierają się, jedzą posiłki, spędzają czas na placu zabaw. Te zwykłe wydarzenia nabierają innego wymiaru kiedy realizuje je koń: za duży, za szybki, zbyt niezgrabny, nie posiadający chwytnych kciuków, jedzący trawę. Książka oswaja z innością, w zabawny sposób pokazując jak można sobie z nią radzić. Książka została wyłoniona w drodze konkursu i wydana przez Instytut Książki w ramach programu book startowego "Mała książka, wielki człowiek", obecnie największego projektu book startowego w Europie. Program promowany jest w ogólnopolskich mediach, na warsztatach i festiwalach literatury, co znaczący podnosi zasięg rozpowszechnienia publikacji w Polsce. Książka dystrybuowana jest za darmo przedszkolakom w bibliotekach na terenie całego kraju. Książka liczy 36 stron, ma format 20x23 cm, przeznaczona dla dzieci w wieku przedszkolnym, ISBN: 9788368579024. Książka została wydana w nakładzie 70 tyś. egzemplarzy przez Wydawnictwo Muchomor w październiku 2025. Instytut Książki jest państwową instytucją kultury powołaną przez MKiDN.
Abstract EN
Marta Kopyt is the author of the texts and illustrations for the children's book "Rita and the Horse." The book tells the story of a couple: a preschool-aged girl and a horse who suddenly—out of nowhere—appears in her life. Rita takes him along to spend the day together: they go to preschool, get dressed, eat meals, and spend time on the playground. These ordinary events take on a different dimension when the horse performs them: too big, too fast, too clumsy, without gripping thumbs, and eating grass. The book embraces otherness, playfully demonstrating how to cope with it. The book was selected through a competition and published by the Book Institute as part of the "Small Book, Great Man" book startup program, currently the largest book startup project in Europe. The program is promoted in national media, at workshops, and literature festivals, significantly increasing the publication's reach in Poland. The book is distributed free to preschoolers in libraries across the country. The book has 36 pages, measures 20x23 cm, and is intended for preschool children. ISBN: 9788368579024. The book was published in a circulation of 70,000 copies by Wydawnictwo Muchomor in October 2025. The Book Institute is a state cultural institution established by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
