Zaprojektowana przez Macieja Siudę wystawa „Change to come” to przekrojowa prezentacja współczesnej sztuki polskiej, przygotowana dla muzeum Kunsthalle im Lipsiusbau (SKD) - najważniejszej instytucji sztuki współczesnej w Dreźnie. Projekt stanowi próbę ukazania polskiej twórczości w perspektywie jej społecznego i politycznego zaangażowania. Historyczne dzieła zestawiono tu ze współczesnymi pracami artystów średniego i młodego pokolenia. Ich wspólnym mianownikiem jest temat aktywizmu oraz reagowania na realia współczesnego świata - szczególnie istotny w dobie dzisiejszych napięć i kryzysów. Ważną część ekspozycji stanowią także prace twórców z Ukrainy i Białorusi, którzy współtworzą dziś polską scenę artystyczną. Zaangażowany charakter ma również sama architektura wystawy. Meble i ekspozytory wykonano z jednego typu formatki MDF, co znacząco upraszcza proces produkcji i minimalizuje wpływ na środowisko. Po zakończeniu ekspozycji elementy te mogą zostać zdemontowane i ponownie wykorzystane jako pełnowartościowy materiał w kolejnych projektach.
Abstract EN
Designed by Maciej Siuda, the exhibition "Change to Come" is a comprehensive presentation of contemporary Polish art, prepared for the Kunsthalle im Lipsiusbau (SKD)—the most important contemporary art institution in Dresden. The project attempts to present Polish art through the lens of its social and political engagement. Historical works are juxtaposed with contemporary works by artists of the middle and younger generations. Their common thread is the theme of activism and responding to the realities of the contemporary world—particularly relevant in times of current tensions and crises. Works by artists from Ukraine and Belarus, who contribute to the Polish art scene today, also play a significant role in the exhibition. The exhibition's architecture is also engaging. The furniture and displays are made from a single type of MDF board, significantly simplifying the production process and minimizing environmental impact. After the exhibition ends, these elements can be dismantled and reused as valuable materials in subsequent projects.
