Na indywidualnej wystawie dr Alicji Bielawskiej pod tytułem „Miejsce na zwijanie i rozwijanie czasu” zaprezentowano rysunki, rzeźby, tkanin, meble i prace ceramiczne z lat 2024-2025. Zestawienie obiektów z osiemnastowiecznymi wnętrzami miało na celu skupienie uwagi odbiorców na wątkach pamięciu i precyzji. Bielawska używa motywów zasłony, fałdy, przeplatania i zestawia materiałów o różnym charakterze jak ceramiki i ręcznie barwione tkaniny, żeby podkreślić motyw upływu czasu oraz procesu powstawania prac. Na wystawie pokazano serię wielkoformatowych rysunków „Podwójne przestrzenie” (2025 r., 160 x 143 cm, kredka na papierze); trzy rzeźby z roku 2024: “Rozwarstwienia” (198 x 340 x 125 cm, jedwab barwiony ręcznie łupinami cebuli i szyszkami świerku, stal, farba), “Rozsunięcia przestrzeni (parawan I)” (181 x 82 x 80 cm, jedwab barwiony ręcznie szyszkami świerku, marzanną barwierską, stal, farba), “W zagłębieniu dłoni (parawan II)”, (194 x 94 x 91 cm, jedwab barwiony ręcznie łupinami cebuli, marzanną barwierska, stal, farba); trzy meble: “Miejsce na zwijanie i rozwijanie czasu” (2024 r., 47 x 124 x 84 cm, tkanina żakardowa, stal), cykl “Pomiędzy widokiem w oknie” I i II (2024 r., 48 x 118 x 60 cm, tkanina żakardowa, stal) oraz nowe prace, w tym cykl sześciu rysunków “Przesunięcia przestrzeni” (2025 r., 40 x 40 cm, ołówek na papierze), dwa cykle rzeźb ceramicznych “Linie fałdy”, (2025 r., ceramika szkliwiona) i “Nitki pamięci” (2025, ceramika szkliwiona). Kuratorką wystawy była Katarzyna Słoboda. Wystawie towarzyszył drukowany katalog z tekstem kuratorskim i reprodukcjami prac. Wystawa miała miejsce w Instytucie Polskim w Düsseldorfie, w dniach 14.11.2025 – 26.02.2026. Odbyła się w ramach drugiej edycji festiwalu Polish Freedom Week 2025 - interdyscyplinarnego wydarzenia kulturalnego. Patronami honorowymi festiwalu byli Marta Cienkowska – Minister Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej, Ina Brandes – Minister Kultury i Nauki Kraju Związkowego Nadrenii Północnej-Westfalii oraz dr Stephan Keller – Nadburmistrz Düsseldorfu. Instytut Polski w Düsseldorfie działa od 1993 roku i jest aktywnym współuczestnikiem życia kulturalnego miasta i regionu.

Dr. Alicja Bielawska's solo exhibition, "A Place for Folding and Unfolding Time," presents drawings, sculptures, textiles, furniture, and ceramic works from 2024-2025. The juxtaposition of objects with 18th-century interiors aims to focus viewers' attention on themes of memory and precision. Bielawska uses motifs of curtains, folds, and interlacing, and combines materials of varying nature, such as ceramics and hand-dyed fabrics, to emphasize the passage of time and the process of creating her works. The exhibition features a series of large-format drawings, "Double Spaces" (2025, 160 x 143 cm, crayon on paper); three sculptures from 2024: “Delayations” (198 x 340 x 125 cm, silk hand-dyed with onion skins and spruce cones, steel, paint), “Space Separations (screen I)” (181 x 82 x 80 cm, silk hand-dyed with spruce cones, madder, steel, paint), “In the Hollow of the Hand (screen II)”, (194 x 94 x 91 cm, silk hand-dyed with onion skins, madder, steel, paint); three pieces of furniture: "A Place for Folding and Unfolding Time" (2024, 47 x 124 x 84 cm, jacquard fabric, steel), the series "Between the View in the Window" I and II (2024, 48 x 118 x 60 cm, jacquard fabric, steel), and new works, including a series of six drawings "Shifts of Space" (2025, 40 x 40 cm, pencil on paper), two series of ceramic sculptures "Fold Lines" (2025, glazed ceramics), and "Threads of Memory" (2025, glazed ceramics). The exhibition was curated by Katarzyna Słoboda. A printed catalog with curatorial text and reproductions of the works accompanied the exhibition. The exhibition took place at the Polish Institute in Düsseldorf from November 14, 2025, to February 26, 2026. It took place as part of the second edition of Polish Freedom Week 2025, an interdisciplinary cultural event. The festival's honorary patrons were Marta Cienkowska, Minister of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland; Ina Brandes, Minister of Culture and Science of North Rhine-Westphalia; and Dr. Stephan Keller, Mayor of Düsseldorf. The Polish Institute in Düsseldorf has been operating since 1993 and is an active participant in the cultural life of the city and region.
