Projekt identyfikacji wizualnej wystawy "Żabie Doły" nawiązywał do przeoranego przez przemysł terenu Żabich Dołów oraz do pojawiających się w pracach motywów potworów, dżdżownic i wężowych bóstw. Na podstawie animacji zaprojektowanych w klimacie starych kaset VHS, zostały przygotowane plakaty 45x56 cm (1200 sztuk), ulotki oraz baner 90 x 400 cm, który został zaprezentowany na fasadzie budynku Kroniki. W wystawie swoje prace zaprezentowały 23 osoby artystyczne. Wystawa eksplorowała postindustrialny krajobraz Żabich Dołów, łącząc sztukę z nauką. Organizatorem wystawy była CSW Kronika w Bytomiu, we współpracy z Filmoteką Narodową - Instytutem Audiowizualnym. Partnerem wydarzenia była Akademia Sztuk Pięknych w Katowicach. CSW Kronika jest instytucją Miasta Bytomia i działa w strukturach organizacyjnych Bytomskiego Centrum Kultury.
Abstract EN
The visual identification design for the "Frog Pits" exhibition referenced the industrially plowed area of Frog Pits and the motifs of monsters, earthworms, and snake deities appearing in the works. Based on animations reminiscent of vintage VHS tapes, 45x56 cm posters (1,200 pieces), flyers, and a 90x400 cm banner were created and displayed on the façade of the Kronika building. Twenty-three artists presented their work in the exhibition. The exhibition explored the post-industrial landscape of Frog Pits, combining art with science. The exhibition was organized by the Kronika Center for Contemporary Art in Bytom, in collaboration with the National Film Archive - Audiovisual Institute. The Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice was a partner of the event. The Kronika Center for Contemporary Art is an institution of the City of Bytom and operates within the organizational structures of the Bytom Cultural Center.
