Wystawa "Dwie dusze twórcy ludowego" to pierwsza w Polsce krytyczna wystawa poświęcona sztuce ludowej. Kuratorka wystawy i autorka opisów eksponatów, Ewa Klekot, skupiła się na koncepcie "dwóch dusz" w sztuce ludowej. Wystawa ukazywała wyłącznie zbiory Państwowego Muzeum Etnograficznego. Oprócz dzieł znanych i publikowanych prezentowała obiekty nigdy dotąd nie prezentowane lub pokazywane rzadko. Wystawa obejmuje tkaniny, malowanki na papierze, wycinanki, malowane makatki, ceramikę, rzeźbę, malarstwo i drzeworyty, a także elementy strojów i obiekty o charakterze pamiątkarskim i dekoracyjnym, w tym też materiały archiwalne i fotografie PME. Organizatorem wystawy było Państwowe Muzeum Etnograficzne w Warszawie. Wydarzenie zostało dofinansowane ze środków Samorządu Województwa Mazowieckiego, który jest organizatorem PME w Warszawie. Informacje o wystawie ukazały się m.in. na portalu "Culture.pl" prowadzonym przez Instytut Adama Mickiewicza, w "Dwutygodniku" - internetowym magazynie poświęconym kulturze, TVP World oraz w Polskim Radiu.
Abstract EN
The exhibition "Two Souls of a Folk Artist" is the first critical exhibition in Poland devoted to folk art. Ewa Klekot, the exhibition curator and exhibit descriptor, focused on the concept of "two souls" in folk art. The exhibition showcased exclusively the collections of the State Ethnographic Museum. In addition to well-known and published works, it also featured objects that have never been exhibited before or that are rarely shown. The exhibition includes textiles, paper paintings, cutouts, painted wall hangings, ceramics, sculpture, painting, and woodcuts, as well as costume elements and souvenir and decorative objects, including archival materials and photographs from the State Ethnographic Museum in Warsaw. The exhibition was organized by the State Ethnographic Museum in Warsaw. The event was co-financed by the Mazovian Voivodeship Government, which organizes the State Ethnographic Museum in Warsaw. Information about the exhibition was published in: on the "Culture.pl" portal run by the Adam Mickiewicz Institute, in "Dwutygodnik" an online magazine devoted to culture, TVP World and on Polish Radio.
