This dataset contains data from a project funded by the National Science Centre, Poland, under grant No. 2020/39/G/HS6/02216.
The project was preregistered at https://osf.io/8tzmk, where a detailed study description, methodology, and additional information can be found.
The dataset contains data from all four ecological momentary assessment (EMA) bursts completed by March 2025.
It includes all data used in the second publication from the project examining the affective benefits of providing support and assessing the role of basic psychological need satisfaction following support provision. All metadata are in English.
The dataset comprises three files:
1. Data – anonymised data, including basic sociodemographic characteristics.
2. Codebook – descriptions of the variables in the dataset and their coding.
3. R code – the code used for the statistical analyses presented in the paper.
