Abstract PL
Abstract EN
The chapter focuses on the aesthetic dimension of the radical nationalist movement in Poland. The observation of events organized by different organizations making up the movement allow us to conclude that it is quite heterogeneous. Its ranks include football fans, historical re-enactors, skinheads, activists wearing uniforms and those appearing in suits. Drawing on cultural approaches to social movement studies and based on an analysis of biographical-narrative interviews with members of nationalist organizations, the paper focuses on the question about the variety of aesthetics of the movement, and presents main aesthetic narratives constructed by the participants, including desired (historical re-enactors and soldiers; intellectuals; national social activists); rejected (skinheads), and negotiated ((non)politicians; street (non)radicals) ones.
