Rzeźba "Nawarstwienia" została wykonana przez Alicję Bielawską w 2025 w ramach stypendium Ministerstwa Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego. Pierwsze upublicznienie miało miejsce w ramach indywidualnej wystawy „Powracające punkty w sieci promieni” w Muzeum im. Przypkowskich w Jędrzejowie (14.06-17.08.2025). Następnie praca została zaprezentowana na wystawie zbiorowej „Fragments of Slowness” w Erika Deák Gallery w Budapeszcie (20.03-17.04.2026). Rzeźba o wymiarach 189 x 145 x 130 cm składa się ze stalowej konstrukcji pomalowanej na odcień różu i udrapowanych na niej jedwabnych tkaninach barwionych ręcznie łupinami cebuli. Forma rzeźby nawiązuje do przedmiotów codziennego użytku, takich jak parawan, metalowe fragmenty konstrukcji mebli – motywów, które autorka przeskalowuje lub przekształca nawiązując do procesów zapamiętywania i zapominania. Barwienie tkanin łupinami cebuli pozwoliło na uzyskanie palety odcieni żółci i rdzawej rudości. Sama roślina odnosi się również do przestrzeni domowych. Ufarbowane tkaniny wystawione na działanie światła podczas ekspozycji pracy stopniowo blakły poddając się wpływowi czasu – jednego z tematów pracy.
Abstract EN
The sculpture "Layers" was created by Alicja Bielawska in 2025 as part of a grant from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. It was first publicly displayed as part of the solo exhibition "Returning Points in a Network of Rays" at the Przypkowski Museum in Jędrzejów (June 14–August 17, 2025). The work was subsequently presented at the group exhibition "Fragments of Slowness" at the Erika Deák Gallery in Budapest (March 20–April 17, 2026). The sculpture, measuring 189 x 145 x 130 cm, consists of a steel structure painted a shade of pink and draped with silk fabrics hand-dyed with onion skins. The sculpture's form references everyday objects such as a screen and metal furniture pieces—motifs that the artist rescales or transforms, alluding to the processes of remembering and forgetting. Dyeing fabrics with onion skins allowed for a palette of shades of yellow and rusty red. The plant itself also relates to domestic spaces. The dyed fabrics, exposed to light during the work's exhibition, gradually faded, succumbing to the effects of time—one of the work's themes.
