Abstract PL
Abstract EN
"Balance-boards" is a rocking bench designed by Karol Murlak in the shape of a section of a ball, the rounded part of which rests on the ground, and the flat part is used for sitting. The object, measuring 200 x 200 x 50 cm, reminds us of the role of balance in the world and everyday life. The bench was one of the fifteen final projects of the 15th edition of the Trieste Contemporanea International Design Competition and, as a result, it appeared at the "Seats for Understanding" exhibition. The exhibition was organized by the Trieste Contemporanea Committee, Gorizia in Italy and Nova Gorica in Slovenia, as part of the European Capital of Culture 2025 program.
