Książka artystyczna p.t. "A Constant Process of Reminding", wykonana przez Piotra Szewczyka, to obiekt z pogranicza poezji i sztuki książki, oparty na autorskim tekście poetyckim. Książka ma wymiary 30x22x5 cm. Całość ma formę ręcznie szytej książki o otwartym grzbiecie, zbudowanej z sekwencji osobnych modułów – przypominających teczki – które dzielą tekst na kilka części. Okładkę pokryto ciemną politurą szelakową, co podkreśla jej surowość i skojarzenia z materiałami archiwalnymi. Strony zostały wykonane z papieru czerpanego z włókien morwy, o wyraźnej, organicznej fakturze. To książka o utracie ciągłości, ale niekoniecznie o nieobecności – raczej o uporczywej obecności wspomnień, których nie sposób uporządkować raz na zawsze. Upublicznienie książki miało miejsce podczas wystawy zbiorowej "Ukos światła / NEW ART.BOOK" w Galerii Intymna w Domu Oświatowym Biblioteki Śląskiej w Katowicach. Wydarzenie zostało zorganizowane w partnerstwie Biblioteki Śląskiej, Uniwersytetu SWPS oraz ASP w Katowicach. Wystawa towarzyszyła Konferencji "Książki dla dzieci – jak to się robi?", organizowanej przez ASP w Katowicach w ramach Biennale "Książka dobrze zaprojektowana - zacznijmy od dzieci".

The artist's book, "A Constant Process of Reminding," created by Piotr Szewczyk, is an object that straddles poetry and book art, based on the author's own poetic text. The book measures 30x22x5 cm. The entire book takes the form of a hand-sewn book with an open spine, constructed from a sequence of separate modules - resembling folders - that divide the text into several sections. The cover is covered with a dark shellac varnish, emphasizing its rawness and associations with archival materials. The pages are made of handmade mulberry paper, with a distinct, organic texture. This is a book about the loss of continuity, but not necessarily about absence - rather, about the persistent presence of memories that cannot be sorted out once and for all. The book was released during the group exhibition "Ukos Światła / NEW ART.BOOK" at the Intymna Gallery in the Educational Center of the Silesian Library in Katowice. The event was organized in partnership with the Silesian Library, SWPS University and the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice. The exhibition accompanied the conference "Children's Books – How Are They Done?", organized by the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice as part of the Biennial "A Well-Designed Book – Let's Start with Children."
