Abstract PL
Obiekt "Bakteria" autorstwa Arkadiusza Szweda został wykonany z porcelany szkliwionej, w technice odlewu z formy gipsowej. Praca ma wymiary 23 x 21 cm. Obiekt został zaprezentowany podczas międzynarodowej wystawy "Beyond Use", organizowanej w ramach 6. Międzynarodowego Triennale Ceramiki UNICUM 2026 w Center Rog w Lublanie.
Abstract EN
Arkadiusz Szwed's "Bacteria" was made of glazed porcelain using the plaster mold technique. The work measures 23 x 21 cm. The piece was presented during the international exhibition "Beyond Use," organized as part of the 6th International Ceramics Triennial UNICUM 2026 at Center Rog in Ljubljana. A special part of the exhibition was the Polish exhibition titled "Forms of Meaning: Contemporary Polish Ceramics," presenting 13 contemporary Polish artists. The exhibition was prepared by the National Museum of Slovenia and Center Rog and was open to the public from May 15 to September 5, 2026. For the first time in its history, the Triennial expanded its program to include design and functional ceramics. The exhibition focused on contemporary ceramic practices related to material experimentation, new technologies, sustainable production, and redefining the relationship between form, function, and utilitarian objects. The event partners were the Adam Mickiewicz Institute, the Polish Embassy in Ljubljana and the BWA Gallery in Wrocław.
