W ramach indywidualnej wystawy p.t. "Oświecone głowy" Bartosz Mucha premierowo zaprezentował dużą rzeźbę - lampę wykonaną z drewna bukowego, stworzoną we współpracy z firmą Drekon - małopolskim zakładem tokarskim, który wytoczył główny element tej świetlnej instalacji. Rzeźba ma charakter kinetyczny i interaktywny - obracając jej górną część, można "sterować" ilością wydobywającego się ze środka światła. Oprócz niej Mucha zaprezentował na wystawie swoje cztery inne obiekty rzeźbiarskie. Wystawa była częścią Krosno Design Festival, międzynarodowego wydarzenia organizowanego przez Muzeum Rzemiosła w Krośnie. W programie festiwalu pojawiły się m.in. gwiazdy światowego designu: Karim Rashid, Stefan Sagmeister, Marcos Novak, Rikke Hansen, a także japoński twórca Masamichi Shibasaki. Patronat honorowy nad festiwalem objął Prezydent Miasta Krosna, a wśród partnerów znaleźli się: Państwowa Akademia Nauk Stosowanych w Krośnie oraz Centrum Dziedzictwa Szkła Krosno.
Abstract EN
As part of his solo exhibition "Enlightened Heads" Bartosz Mucha premiered a large sculpture – a lamp made of beech wood, created in collaboration with Drekon, a local lathe workshop that produced the main element of this light installation. The sculpture is kinetic and interactive – by rotating its upper part, you can "control" the amount of light emitted. Mucha also presented four other sculptural objects at the exhibition. The exhibition was part of the Krosno Design Festival, an international event organized by the Museum of Crafts in Krosno. The festival program featured stars of international design: Karim Rashid, Stefan Sagmeister, Marcos Novak, Rikke Hansen, and Japanese artist Masamichi Shibasaki. The festival was held under the honorary patronage of the Mayor of Krosno, and partners included the State Academy of Applied Sciences in Krosno and the Krosno Glass Heritage Center.
