Instalacja artystyczna "Nitka" nawiązuje formą do tekstylnej tradycji miasta Łodzi i przedstawia przeskalowaną nić o łącznej długości 13m, szerokości 2m i wysokość 1,5m. Instalacja jest stworzona z giętych stalowych rur, elementów ze stali nierdzewnej i drewna egzotycznego. Instalacja powstała na zlecenie Łódź Art Center w ramach całorocznego programu Łódź Design Festival i została zlokalizowana w otoczeniu zabytkowych obiektów pofabrycznych w Łodzi. Powstanie instalacji zostało dofinansowane z programu własnego Centrum Rzeźby Polskiej w Orońsku "Rzeźba w przestrzeni publicznej dla Niepodległej – 2024" z środków pochodzących z budżetu Ministra Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego.
Abstract EN
The artistic installation "Thread" refers in form to the textile tradition of the city of Łódź and presents a scaled thread with a total length of 13m, width of 2m and height of 1.5m. The installation is made of bent steel pipes, stainless steel elements and exotic wood. The installation was commissioned by Łódź Art Center as part of the year-long Łódź Design Festival program and was located in the surroundings of historic post-industrial buildings in Łódź. The creation of the installation was co-financed from the own program of the Polish Sculpture Center in Orońsko "Sculpture in public space for an independent country - 2024" from the budget of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage.
