Wystawa "Design wokół nas", której scenografię zaprojektowała i wykonała Agata Nowak, to przekrojowa prezentacja współczesnego polskiego designu. Agata Nowak opracowała m.in. dobór obiektów oraz przygotowała opisy eksponatów. Wystawa ukazuje, jak dzięki przemyślanym koncepcjom projektantów, przedmioty i przestrzenie stają się funkcjonalne i dopasowane do potrzeb użytkowników. Ekspozycja przedstawiała kilkadziesiąt przedmiotów codziennego użytku oraz wybrane procesy projektowe. Wystawa swoją pierwszą ekspozycję miała w Galerii Sztuki Współczesnej we Włocławku, samorządowej instytucji kultury Miasta Włocławka. Jej druga prezentacja, z niezmiennymi eksponatami, miała miejsce w Galerii BWA w Olsztynie. W 2025 roku trzecia edycja wystawy “Design wokół nas” została przygotowana na zaproszenie Instytutu Designu w Kielcach i była to, jak dotychczas, najdłuższa bo ponad pięciomiesięczna prezentacja tej wystawy.
Abstract EN
The exhibition "Design Around Us," whose set was designed and executed by Agata Nowak, is a comprehensive presentation of contemporary Polish design. Agata Nowak curated the selection of objects and prepared the exhibit descriptions. The exhibition demonstrates how, thanks to thoughtful designer concepts, objects and spaces become functional and tailored to the needs of their users. The exhibition showcased dozens of everyday objects and selected design processes. The exhibition had its first showing at the Contemporary Art Gallery in Włocławek, a local government cultural institution of the City of Włocławek. Its second presentation, featuring the same exhibits, took place at the BWA Gallery in Olsztyn. In 2025, the third edition of the "Design Around Us" exhibition was prepared at the invitation of the Institute of Design in Kielce and was, to date, the longest presentation of this exhibition, lasting over five months.
