Abstract PL
Wystawa została zaprezentowana w dniach 20-28 czerwca w Pomorskim Parku Naukowo-Technologicznym (PPNT). Agata Nowak odpowiadała m.in. za nawiązanie współpracy z firmami partnerskimi. Patronat nad wystawą objęły firmy: Davis Home, Mudita, Scrolly i IKEA.
Abstract EN
Agata Nowak served as the curator of "Doing Nothing" exhibition, part of the 2026 edition of the annual Gdynia Design Days festival. The exhibition explored how to regain the ability to do nothing - a skill lost in a society that promotes constant productivity. "Doing Nothing" examines design as a tool that can support the recovery of this lost ability. The concepts and initiatives presented offered various strategies for letting go - ranging from bodywork and breathwork to limiting sensory stimuli and consciously creating conditions for idleness. The exhibition featured projects from countries including Poland, France, and South Korea. It was held from June 20 to 28 at the Pomeranian Science and Technology Park (PPNT). Agata Nowak was responsible for, among other things, establishing partnerships with collaborating companies. The exhibition was sponsored by Davis Home, Mudita, Scrolly, and IKEA. The festival is organized by the City of Gdynia, PPNT Gdynia, and the Gdynia Design Centre. Held since 2008, the festival is one of the most important design events in Poland; its partners include Vogue Living, White MAD, Formy XYZ, and Label Magazine.
