Stworzony przez Karola Murlaka projekt pt. "Studio Rozwoju Produktu" to ośmiomiesięczny cykl pietnastu działań projektowych wspierających lokalną produkcję na terenie Nowego Jorku. Projekt zaowocował powstaniem pięciu zestawów produktów wytwarzanych przez nowojorskich rzemieślników i producentów krótkoseryjnych. Efekty projektu zaprezentowano na wystawie podsumowującej w Juliana Curran Terian Design Center w Nowym Jorku zlokalizowanym na terenie kampusu Pratt Institute w Brooklynie. Projekt był sfinansowany przez Pratt Center for Community Development.
Abstract EN
The project created by Karol Murlak named "Product Development Studio" is an eight-month cycle of fifteen design activities supporting local production in New York. The project resulted in the creation of five sets of products manufactured by New York craftsmen and short-run producers. The effects of the project were presented at a summary exhibition at the Juliana Curran Terian Design Center in New York, located on the Pratt Institute campus in Brooklyn. The project was funded by the Pratt Center for Community Development.
