Wystawa "Absence", której kuratorkami są socjolożki Laura Harris i Maike Pötschulat, to wystawa zbiorowa, która gromadzi fotografie siedmiu osób zajmujących się fotografią dokumentalną i socjologią wizualną. Paweł Starzec, oprócz prezentacji na wystawie swoich prac z serii "Makeshift" (2013-2020), uczestniczył w konferencji i dyskusji panelowej dotyczącej strategii narracyjnych w fotografii dokumentalnej. Jedna z prac Starca była jednocześnie głównym zdjęciem promującym wydarzenie. Organizowana jako partnerstwo Open Eye Gallery i Stable Gallery wystawa została zaprezentowana w St George’s Hall w Liverpoolu. Wystawa była dostępna dla zwiedzających od 5 czerwca do 11 lipca 2026. Wydarzenie wspierały: The British Academy, Liverpool John Moores University, University of Southampton.
Abstract EN
The exhibition "Absence," curated by sociologists Laura Harris and Maike Pötschulat, is a group exhibition bringing together photographs by seven individuals working in documentary photography and visual sociology. In addition to presenting his works from the "Makeshift" series (2013-2020), Paweł Starzec participated in a conference and panel discussion on narrative strategies in documentary photography. One of Starzec's works also served as the main promotional image for the event. Organized as a partnership between Open Eye Gallery and Stable Gallery, the exhibition was presented at St George's Hall in Liverpool. It will be open to the public from June 5th to July 11th, 2026. The event was supported by The British Academy, Liverpool John Moores University, and the University of Southampton.
