dc.abstract.enThe paper begins with a summary of the discussion about company interest in foreign legal literature. The author shows how the debate on this issue, initiated in academia, finds resonance with the business world. Next, the state of reflection on company interest, conducted in the Polish legal literature and in case law, is briefly characterized. The paper ends with the suggestion that further research is needed on the subject of company interest in Polish law and that it should take into account not only the current trends noticeable in developed countries, but also the particularities of Polish companies and the Polish capital market.
