W obecnych warunkach dynamicznych przemian społecznych rośnie znaczenie społecznej odpowiedzialności mediów. Zjawiska takie jak: mediatyzacja społeczeństwa, przeciążenie informacyjne, narastająca dezinformacja oraz rozwój sztucznej inteligencji sprawiają, że odbiorca mediów potrzebuje profesjonalnego przewodnika po świecie, którego coraz bardziej nie rozumie. W tym kontekście kluczowa jest refleksja nad profesjonalnymi standardami pracy dziennikarzy, nad istotą społecznej odpowiedzialności mediów i nad kierunkami badań, które należy podjąć by wzmocnić dobre i jakościowe dziennikarstwo. W niniejszym artykule ukazano wybrane istotne wymiary współczesnych zmian społecznych, ich wpływ na nadawców i odbiorców treści medialnych oraz zmieniającą się rolę dziennikarzy informacyjnych.
Abstract EN
In the current conditions of dynamic social change, the importance of the social responsibility of the media is growing. Phenomena such as the mediatisation of society, information overload, increasing disinformation and the development of artificial intelligence mean that media consumers need a professional guide to a world they increasingly do not understand. In this context, it is crucial to reflect on the professional standards of journalists' work, on the essence of the social responsibility of the media and on the lines of research that need to be undertaken to strengthen good and quality journalism. This article presents selected relevant dimensions of contemporary social changes, their impact on broadcasters and audiences of media content and the changing role of news journalists.
